Details

This quilt tote bag was made from pieces of an antique quilt with a yellow background and various colored fabric strips that form a hexagon shape. Both sides of the bag (front and back) feature a similar hexaxon; however, the fabrics are different. Please see photos.

The base of this quilt tote is made from remnants of blue jeans and the lining is made from a lighter blue, chambray-type fabric. The content of the fabrics is assumed to be mostly cotton, but exact fiber composition is unknown.

This quilt was well-loved before it was used to create this bag; therefore, it has areas that are worn, threadbare, and have loose stitching. These imperfections bring character and uniqueness to the piece and add to the vintage feel. Please zoom in on the photos to view flaws. Item is sold as-is. Please Contact Us with any questions!

Size

This tote bag measures approximately 13” tall and is approximately 12-1/2” wide across the top of the bag. The base of the bag measures approximately 8-1/2” x 4” and is semi-structured. When hung, the handles measure approximately 12” from the peak to the top edge of the bag (12” drop). There are no pockets inside the bag.
