Details

This Antique Quilt Heart Garland is made from an antique, hand-stitched quilt. The quilt fabric has been carefully washed and dried. As an antique item, it does have slight imperfections, small areas of fading, and minimal loose stitching; however, the colors on this quilt are particularly vibrant and it is in very good condition. The quilt’s fabric colors are mostly pastels, including pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, and red.

The hearts are cut from the vintage quilt and the edges are not finished to leave a rustic look. There is a line of machine stitching that goes around just inside the edge of each heart to preserve the construction.

Each heart is stitched to the jute rope strand in three places to secure it. The hearts are not moveable.

Size

This heart garland measures approximately 6 ft wide between the end loops. There is loop and an additional 1 ft of rope on each end to facilitate hanging the garland. The hearts measure approximately 4-1/2”x4-1/2”.
